Emergency Assessment Checklist – Document Extract

Have you identified emergencies which may require an evacuation of the working area for:

  • Fire
  • Explosion
  • Chemical Spills
  • Bomb Threat
  • Weather Conditions

 

Do you have the following emergency procedures in place?

  • The appropriate evacuation signage, clearly defining all emergency exits
  • The appropriate evacuation signage, clearly defining all emergency exits?
  • Evacuation point, and are all employees, visitors and contractors inducted and notified of this point?
  • Are all staff aware of what to do in case of the emergency that you have identified?
  • Do you have the appropriate emergency equipment in place?
  • Are employees trained how to use emergency equipment?
  • Have you nominated a person who is responsible for evacuations and re-entry over all working timeframes?
